REVIVAL WILL COME-IS JESUS ACCEPTED BY JAPANESE???

For Christians, the word is familiar.

For non-Christians, it's revival ???? What is that?

I guess you may be asking, "What is that?

I will try to explain it in an easy-to-understand way.

It is when the Holy Spirit comes down to each one of us during the worship service, and not intentionally but very naturally, we start to speak in tongues, which is not a language, or we are miraculously healed of illnesses on the spot, for example, the eyes of a blind person open, a person who cannot walk stands up, etc., and these are things that cannot be explained scientifically. People who have evil spirits attached to them can suddenly have their bodies convulse and collapse on the spot, but through prayer they can be released from the evil spirits and their souls can be liberated.

Also, there will be people who give messages of prophetic things.

This happens very naturally during the service, but it is necessary to have a leader to guide the Holy Spirit, a pastor, or a Christian who has the gift (ability) of prophecy, deliverance, and healing.

The most famous revival in modern times is the 1906 revival at Azusa St. in LA, USA.

However, even as I write this blog, revivals are happening all over the world.

Especially in African charismatic churches that pray in "tongues" and place more importance on the relationship with the Holy Spirit, it is a very common scene.

And there are countless charismatic leaders who lead them.

Africa is amazing.

Returning to AzusaSt., according to the documentary, a black pastor was running a home worship service, and as the number of people kept increasing, he rented a place and started a ministry (worship service), which suddenly happened.

According to the testimony, there were blacks, whites, Chinese, and Japanese there! Hallelujah!

Children and adults were mixed together, and as they all began to pray together as usual, the Holy Spirit fell on each one of them.

Each one was filled with such power that they had no will at all, they spoke in tongues, they healed each other, and a child about 9 years old healed an old man with a limp and made him walk.

Everyone there was healed and released, experiencing a spiritual liberation that could not be explained.

This sparked a fire that led to a series of revivals in neighboring churches.

It was as if the fire of a wildfire was spreading. ・・・・

When such a situation occurs, it has a great impact even on those who did not believe in Christianity. All human beings desire to be spiritually liberated.

The fire of faith spreads and the Pentecostal movement begins.

The following quote is from Chatt GPT

**

The Azusa Street Revival began in 1906 in a small warehouse at 312 Azusa Street in downtown Los Angeles, California, USA. This revival is also known as the founding of the Pentecostal (Pentecostal movement).

On April 9, 1906, the first overflowing experience of the Holy Spirit appeared in a church led by an African American pastor, William J. Seymour. Believers began to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to pray and speak words of praise during the service. This led to many people experiencing spiritual conversion and the spread of Christian revival.

The Azusa Street Revival brought together people from different racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds, and became an event that brought widespread acceptance of the Christian message. This revival spread as the Pentecostal movement and continues to influence Christian churches around the world today.

The impact of the Azusa Street Revival was so great that it led to the establishment of the Pentecostal and Holy Spirit sects of Christianity. The movement is considered an important milestone in the history of Christianity and has been the source of various faith movements and spiritual revivals.

Evangelical churches and other churches that value tradition tend not to accept this.

This is probably because they find spiritual phenomena suspicious.

Personally, for a while after I became a Christian, I was skeptical too.

I am certain that I had the impression that people were flopping over and that it was a cult.

Because our brains are so conditioned to believe only in scientific things that we have no interest in the unseen, spiritual world and understand it as inexplicable.

But what about the reality?

In Japan, there are many words that are sensitive to the spiritual range of human beings, such as the Japanese words "nen" and "ki.

We unconsciously place ourselves in the spiritual world and are at its mercy.

I have unforgettable memories.

There was an incident in a family with no morals.

They had many dogs, and a Siberian husky attacked a small dog and bit it to death. The husband was furious and beat the Siberian to death.

It is a horrible story to hear, but what followed was even more horrifying.

I was working part-time at an architectural office owned by the family, and the husband's eyes were becoming lighter and grayer day by day.

His wife jokingly said, "He killed a husky, so the spirit of the dog came over him.

But it was true. The husband's body was human, but spiritually he became the dead husky dog.

I have no way of knowing what happened to him after that, since I quit soon after that, but I wonder what happened to his eyes.

I don't even want to know.

What I am trying to say is that human beings are both physical and spiritual beings. So even if we are physically fulfilled, if we are not spiritually liberated, we will never be happy to be alive.

Steve Jobs said before he passed away.

Money and honor mean nothing to me.

Love fills the spirit, but money and honor are nothing. In other words, they are illusions.

What about Japan today?

It is full of physical desires (money, things, fame, greed). At the same time, spiritually, it is very dry and the batteries are empty.

So, in a desperate attempt to fill up their batteries, they seem to be investing in stocks, going on gourmet food tours, trying to get ahead by kicking others down the road, becoming money-grubbers, engaging in adultery, and struggling in various other ways.

But suicides are not decreasing.

I think this is the reason why the number of suicides, especially among children, has increased fourfold.

I am going to say it here suddenly, but a revival is coming to Japan!

Something happened the other day that convinced me of this.

Three years ago, I met a young charismatic Ghanaian pastor Bernard and learned the importance of the Holy Spirit.

Praying in tongues and being uplifted by praise have always been a part of my life, but connecting with the Holy Spirit in prayer and prophecy are also important.

Everything was miraculous and I was spiritually filled and healed.

Then, another young Korean evangelist, Hyuk Park, came to Japan and ministered.

He was truly wonderful, not only for the healing and deliverance work he had learned in the African charismatic school, but also for his passion for Japan, which spun out from his words. Many messages from God.

God's love.

For the first time, I truly felt that "Japan" was engaged to God, or rather, had been made! I truly felt that "Japan" was engaged to God. Hallelujah !!

You may say, "No, no, no, Japan has always been connected with 8,000,000 gods.

That is also true.

There must have been a time when they were connected. However, the connection was easily severed.

And how long was it that we could have faith with certainty?

There was an idol, the emperor, and people worshipped many idols, from clay idols to Buddhist statues, but the traditions were not well connected.

With the Industrial Revolution, they easily switched to the belief in "money" and "materials".

Now they are trying to connect with "Jesus.

Like it or not.

You may  not believe it?

But this time, people will seek to "believe in God, respect God, and connect with the Holy Spirit. I don't care how ridiculous it sounds.

Revival in Japan has already begun.

No one can avoid "yes.

The younger generation, especially those in their teens and twenties, will react sensitively and come to faith.

Those who are reading. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. ???? What's that?" They will think, "What's that? (laugh).

It's not a matter of logic anymore.

Well, just watch.

A lot of help is coming.

Especially Pentecostal, charismatic pastors and evangelists.

I'm looking forward to it!

I'm so happy.

I'll cry.

I can only thank God!

The time of spiritual salvation is coming.

It will come soon.

The torch will be lit and the fire will spread.

From the north and the south, the Holy Spirit will take a thousand angels.

They will run all over Japan.

There is no logic to it.

No one can stop them.

Because this is God's plan. Hallelujah!
